Our building celebrates the lumber history that makes our town unique. Lunch, dinner, catering for special events - Wanigan is Bay City's hidden gem. We are locally owned and just 5-minutes from downtown Bay City. Stop in and see why people drive from miles around just to get a bite. Our beautiful waterfront view, patio, and beer garden make Wanigan the perfect place to relax. Wanigan (wah-nih-gun) - noun floating kitchen used to serve lumbermen on the river; noun - Bay City restaurant serving up fresh homemade food using premium ingredients.
We serve over 32 sandwiches, fresh salads, soups and delicious desserts. We have a full bar and serve fried fish meals & hot appetizers 3pm-close. Enjoy happy hour Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 5:30pm with 1/2 off appetizers and drink specials. We are known for our excellent catering of special events and office gatherings. You may rent our large tent, patio or full restaurant for your private party too! We deliver and you can find us on DoorDash and Grubhub.
